CREW RATES

(Based on a 10 hr day)

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY: $2,200 / shoot day, $1,100 / pre-production day
Management of the look and feel of your production through use of set lighting, camera placement and movement, and camera equipment selection. As DP, I may serve as  camera / MoVI operator as well, depending on the needs of your production. I can also assist in the post process of color grading your footage to ensure our vision of the look and feel of the project is seen through to the finished piece. I can also operate a light duty aerial drone at no additional cost.

MoVI OPERATOR: $1,200
Operation of the Freefly Systems MoVI Pro in single or dual operator mode. Experienced in operating the MoVI in standard handheld mode, from the Klassen Slingshot or ReadyRig support systems, and from moving vehicles such as a car, process trailer, helicopter, or boat. Special rigging to a crane, vehicle mount, cable cam system, or rope system can also be performed, as well as setting up and executing MoVI transfer shots (from crane to handheld for example). I can also operate a standard camera setup at no additional charge. Includes prep and wrap of all MoVI related equipment with your camera and lenses of choice. I can also operate a light duty aerial drone at no additional cost.

MoVI TECHNICIAN: $850
Management of the Freefly Systems MoVI Pro camera stabilization system, including prep and wrap of all MoVI related equipment with your camera and lenses of choice, battery management throughout the day, special rigging to a crane, vehicle mount, cable cam system, or rope system. If any MoVI operating is performed on the shoot per the request of the DP, Director, or Producer, my rate will be bumped up to my MoVI Operator rate (per production approval).

CAMERA OPERATOR (NO MoVI): $850
Operation of standard camera setups, such as handheld, tripod, slider, dolly, and motorized heads.

AERIAL DRONE OPERATOR: $750
I am an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot. I can pilot and operate the camera on light duty drones, such as the DJI Mavic 2 Pro. I am comfortable flying in most environments and can fly BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) for difficult to reach locations of interest.

ADDITIONAL COSTS

• SCOUT DAYS: full day rate
• EQUIPMENT PREP DAYS: half day rate
• TRAVEL AND STANDBY DAYS: half day rate
• TRAVEL EXPENSES: Client pays for travel, lodging, ground transportation, checked bags, meals for all jobs outside Los Angeles and Seattle.

GIMBAL

MoVI PROFESSIONAL PACKAGE: $1,300
Includes everything needed to use the MoVI on a professional set, including: MoVI, MoVI remote control (wheels upon request), batteries for MoVI and camera, 3 channel wireless lens control, wireless video, monitors for operators, matte box, support rig, and camera cart. Camera and lenses not included.

MoVI ALEXA PACKAGE: $2,500
Includes everything from the MoVI Professional Package, plus an Alexa Mini 4K (UHD) camera with 512GB media + reader, EVF, and studio / handheld kit. PL and EF mounts available. Includes ARRI RAW and anamorphic licenses.

MoVI RED MONSTRO PACKAGE: $2,500
Includes everything from the MoVI Professional Package, plus a RED MONSTRO Vista Vision (full frame) 8K camera with 2TB media + reader, touchscreen monitor, and studio / handheld kit. PL and EF mounts available.

AERIAL / DRONE

DJI MAVIC 2 PRO PACKAGE: $150
Includes DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone, controller, 3 batteries, 192GB media + reader, and CPL/ND filters (8, 16, 32). Shoots cinema quality 4K footage on a 1″ Hasselblad digital sensor.

TIME LAPSE

ULTIMATE: SONY A7Riii + SYRP SLIDER / MOTION CONTROL PACKAGE: $400
Includes Sony A7Riii 42mp full frame camera, Sony 12-24mm F4.0 lens, Sony 24-105mm F4.0 lens, Sony 100-400mm F4.5-5.0 lens, Sony 1.4x teleconverter, intervalometer, CPL / ND filters, Syrp Magic Carpet 2 ft slider, 2 ft slider extension, Syrp Genie 2 linear module, Genie 2 pan/tilt module, 2 tripods.

BASIC: SONY A7Riii PACKAGE: $250
